Vista - Shutting off send/receive at the same time....

Is there a way to shut off receive at the same time you send? You can't send
a test message to another computer in the same room because WLM pulls it
before you can stop it from happening.

If the sending account is enabled to 'include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing', then no.
- the 'include' option can be found in the accounts properties general tab

If the account is 'not included' , then when in mail mode, F5 or Sync all will send but not receive that account's incoming mail.

One can also create from one email account and send a message(s) to another account, then manually sync the sending account
- sync button\scroll and select the sending account or Tools\Sync\<select the sending account>

Alternatively, create in one account and send to another, but disable the second account from being 'included' for receiving or
synchronizing
- sync button\scroll and select the sending account or Tools\Sync\<select the sending account> or F5(Sync all email accounts)


If one changes their mind and wish to receive on the same pc(same account as source/From and destination/To) even thought already
sent... just do it manually
- sync button\scroll and select the sending account or Tools\Sync\<select the sending account>


All are extra work and a sloppy method to accomplish a task that was second nature to most users in the last version and especially
compared to other email clients that accommodate this task with ease(e.g. Outlook has a Send All option)
