Vista - Windows Live Mail Not Sending or Receiving

I have Dell Inspiron 1720 with Vista. Installed Windows Live Mail but it
won't send or receive. Also, if I close it I can't reopen it unless I do a
restart the computer. I have been using Windows live mail on 2 other
computers also running Vista and they work great. What's going on??

I have a similar problem with it not starting all of the time. I found that
if you access the Windows Task Manager (Alt, Ctrl, Delete) Processes tab and
end the wlmail.exe you do not have to restart your computer. Not sure if you
have the same problem but see if this helps. I am running the 2009 version.
