| | Can't change font settings I have repeatedly changed the font settings for my composed messages through the tools menu. Yet every time I compose a new message the default settings are applied and I have to manually change everything to the way I want it. Any suggestions? |

| | Re: Can't change font settings My settings say that I'm composing HTML. And I'm using IE7. I don't touch betas. I'd rather wait for a finished product before using it. ![]() "Gary VanderMolen" wrote: Quote: > Are you composing a plain text message or a HTML message? > Are you running one of the IE8 betas? > > -- > Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) > > > "Reni" <Reni@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:A7FEDED4-2568-4444-B69D-6D9C022BB113@xxxxxx Quote: > >I have repeatedly changed the font settings for my composed messages through > > the tools menu. | | Re: Can't change font settings The only other cause for that problem is using the stationery option. | | Re: Can't change font settings Many (perhaps most) stationary files internally specify a font or fonts to use. That's part of the stationery design. If you want to use a different font with a stationery you edit the stationery HTML file. The compose fonts are for when using HTML format messages without stationery. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "goldpals" <goldpals@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7B139921-9052-4420-949D-002C15F41D5D@xxxxxx Quote: > Gary > You say that the stationery option overides your font selection.
