Blocked & Safe Senders?

What is the registry key that has the safe & blocked sender list. I want to
save it for future OS installs. Thanks.

Re: Blocked & Safe Senders?

If you have a WLHotmail account, it's not something you need to do because WLMail will sync with those lists in that account when you sign into Windows Live in WLMail.

Re: Blocked & Safe Senders?

Using Windows Live Mail does not prevent you from having a
"Live ID" (Hotmail or Live.com account). There is no need to
use such an account for email (I don't), but if you do, it keeps
a synced copy of your contacts and Blocked/Safe Senders lists.

You can search the registry for that key.

Re: Blocked & Safe Senders?

Good to see you found..
Are you clear that if you use a Live Id to signon in WLM, you don't have to export the reg key or import anything later. I.e..The
Block Senders for a Hotmail capable Live ID account are stored on the server.

Re: Blocked & Safe Senders?

Give it a bit of time to propagate. Then go to http://hotmail.com ,
log in to that Live ID, go to Options, More Options, click on "Safe
and blocked senders", and check the two lists for completeness.
