Hi: I pay for Hotmail Plus and I do not like the new changes. How do you
remove the pane on the R/S of the screen? I don't need it and it takes so
much of the screen up.

I assume you mean the Reading/Preview Pane?

Since you've not specified whether your question applies to Windows Live Mail or the Hotmail interface and your question referenced
Hotmail Plus..

Assuming you mean the Hotmail's web interface(mail.live.com) preview pane
Two options in view message mode
- Drag the vertical bar to the right to reduce the size of the right side pane, or
- Click the 'Full View' item in the upper right.

The above impacts only the current message.

If you wish to remove the Reading Pane permanently, change your Reading Pane settings
- Options/More Options/Reading Pane Settings

The preview pane has been present for quite some time in both WLM and the HotMail interface....I.e.it is not a new change.

If you are referring to something else, you'll have to add more detail.
