| | Bringing back Messages from Windows Mail I have linked my live account to my Windows Mail but now my live Mail inbox is empty. How can I bring back all those important messages to my live-hotmail inbox? This means I can not check my hotmail-live Mail inbox any more from a different computer than mine? What if I'm traveling around the world without my laptop? HELP Please !!! How can I reverse this and get my messages back to they were before? |

| | Re: Bringing back Messages from Windows Mail You accessed your Live account using the POP servers... POP3 email programs, by default, delete email on the server after downloading. To move the messages back, you will need to download the newer Windows Live Mail program. Installing it will import the messages you downloaded. Create an account to access your Live account (the regular way, non-POP). Move (drag) the messages that were downloaded via POP to the Inbox of the Live account you added. The messages should be synced back to the server. It may take awhile. -- Windows 7 beta http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview http://download.live.com/wlmail "Carle" <Carle@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:01778C45-BCE5-4938-8BA6-66F27F73BD99@xxxxxx Quote: > I have linked my live account to my Windows Mail but now my live Mail > inbox is > empty.
