Vista - Contacts and Birthdays

I keep reading that when I add contacts into my windows live account their
birthdays will automatically show up in the calendar. This is not happening
for me, i added my contacts well over a week ago, and still no birthdays.

Is this feature removed? Do I need to just add them all manually?

I have the same problem the only birthday that showes up is my own and I checked to see if I added that info on my windows contacts and my windows mail contacts and I didn't even put my own birthday in either of those. Where do you have to put a birthday in to get it to show up in the calender?

Why the birthdays calender is not able to accept new dates of birthdays ?

Birthdates are pushed from your contacts to your Birthday calendar.
I.e. A contact must enter a birth date in their profile for the calendar to pull that info into yours.
