| | Changing the background colour from white to a differnt one Hi all, I've already read a post about this, but the paintbrush only changes the title bar of the windows for Windows live mail, is there a way to change the background from the white in any of the open windows to a pastel colour as the white also hurts my eyes after a bit thx |

| | Re: Changing the background colour from white to a different one You can do this through 'Advanced Appearance' options in Windows 'Display Properties' as follows: Vista: Control Panel->Windows Color and Appearance->'Open classic appearance properties for more color options'->Advanced [button]->Item:->'Window'->Color 1: 7: Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Personalization [section]->'Change window glass colors'->'Advanced appearance settings...->Item:->'Window'->Color 1: XP: Control Panel->Display->Appearance [tab]->Advanced [button]->Item:->'Window'->Color 1: The application of a 'Theme' or 'Skin' will override these settings. -- Cheers, Peter.R (Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Live Mail 2009 14.0.8064.0206) "There are more things in Heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." - Shakespeare "Dj Toonz" <dj.toonz@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:8815C919-6BEA-4781-B904-9533405B56EA@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi all, I've already read a post about this, but the paintbrush only changes > the title bar of the windows for Windows live mail, is there a way to change > the background from the white in any of the open windows to a pastel colour > as the white also hurts my eyes after a bit thx |
