Re: IMAP: Deleted Items folder always empty

Hi,

You have to make it go there for IMAP. Here's how:

alt key/tools/options/advanced/[x] Use 'Deleted Items' folder for IMAP
accounts

George

IMAP: Deleted Items folder always empty

Maybe I'm not doing something right as I'm new to IMAP but I thought that as soon as I deleted an item in the Sent folder it should
appear in the Deleted Items folder like with POP email. Is IMAP different? Cause its not showing up here. Inbox items that are
deleted are not showing up in the Deleted Items folder either. I used Download All Folders in that account to update everything.
Did I miss something in the setup of my IMAP account I wonder?

Yes, IMAP is different. Since all transactions including deletions
have to be processed through the server, it will seem sluggish
compared to a POP account.
