Missing send receive buttons on toolbar

When I download Live Desktop to my PC it was missing the Send/Receive button
in the toolbar. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but it was still
not there. I have live on my laptop and everything is fine there. When I
click under customize toolbar, send/receive is not an option. I'm running
Vista 64 bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Missing send receive buttons on toolbar

Windows Live Mail doesn't have 'send/receive'. It does have 'Sync' (2009
Build 14.....)

Re: Missing send receive buttons on toolbar

Sync (replacement for Send and Receive in WLM)
------------------------------------------------------------

Sync button on the Toolbar or on the menu(Tools) has three options depending upon which view is in use (News or Mail)
- Note: WLM has a common Outbox for all news and mail messages.

Mail mode - sync email account, sync all email accounts(F5), sync everything(Ctrl F5)
In Mail mode, F5 and Ctrl-F5 sends all contents of the Outbox

News mode - sync newsgroup, sync all newsgroups(F5), sync everything(Ctrl F5)
In News mode Ctrl-F5 is required to send any unsent emails present in the Outbox

Also, in Feeds mode, Control F5, first syncs all feeds, then syncs all mail and news, and finally sends messages in the Outbox.

Fyi...the Desktop name no longer applies, it was dropped in the spring of 2007.

Re: Missing send receive buttons on toolbar

Well, I'm not sure what to say. I just got my computer for Christmas,
downloaded Windows Live on my Laptop and I have a send receive button but not
sync. I prefer to have the send receive actually, is there any way to revert
my desktop computer to this version?
