You have 2 choices.
1) Go to Tools, Options, Spelling select the desired language and then
click the SET DEFAULT button.
2) Go to Tools, Options, Spelling and select the option to Check
spelling in current Input language. Then when you switch input
languages in Windows (such as using the tool mentioned by Ron), WLM will
switch the language that it uses for spell check.
