    Hi, Manuel.

No. But you can right-click on Quick views, then click Select quick
views... and check the box that says "All inbox - Shows all messages in the
inbox folders of all e-mail accounts."

Woops! That's for Windows Live Mail. Your message was posted using Windows
Mail, which is a completely different program. You'll find peer-to-peer
    support for WM here:
    news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...ows.vista.mail

WM is built into every copy of Vista. Windows Live Mail is a part of the
Windows Live family and can be downloaded for free from here (along with
other optional components of Windows Live):

Windows Mail only has only Inbox.
It could be that manuel uses WM for news and WLM for email.

    Create a dummy account.
Create a message rule: For all messages, Move to dummy Inbox and Stop
    processing more rules.

    Hi, Ron.

Thanks. I hadn't thought of the WM/WLM combination. And I haven't used WM
in so long that I never would have thought of your workaround rule solution.

Instead of having to add a dummy account, I have a rule that dumps
all incoming mail to a sub-folder ('Incoming') of my main POP account.

    Re: just one inbox

Using a dummy account will force you to select a valid email account when
sending. This will help prevent sending using the wrong account.
