| | Cannot send or receive messages....anyone know why and how to fix This is the error message I am getting every time I try to send a message. I am receiving messages but all my email I try to send are going to my Outbox and won't send. What's up with that? Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (XXXXXXXX) account. I currently run Windows Live Mail and it just signs me into the standard hotmail account. I have checked all my settings and there seems to be no reason for the error.... on my part anyway. One day it is working fine and the next day it was all messed up. Were you able to actually send and receive messages from that location - ie. New messages should be present in the Inbox and a test message sent to you or a contact can be sent and received by you or the recipient If yes, then the issue should be local problem with WLM and/or the account in WLM ? Noel, suggested(a good suggestion) removing the account in WLM and recreating the account. It's worth a try.
