Login password not recognized

Almost every time or every other time I log into Hotmail I get a red error
message that says, "The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please
retype the e-mail address and password, or sign up if you haven't already
done so. Need help signing in?" THE PASSWORD IS CORRECT. Why does it always
take two tries before it accepts the password? I am very frustrated. I
thought Hotmail was supposed to be MORE user friendly and not less.

Re: Login password not recognized

Two other possibilities.

1. Passwords are case sensitive

2. Your keyboard sometimes omits character(s) from the
password. That is a real possibility, if you are using a
wireless keyboard and the keyboard batteries require replacement.

Re: Login password not recognized

Is IE8 installed ?
Are Live.com, msn.com, and hotmail.com added to IE's properties/Privacy tab and set to allow ?
Consider resetting IE to its default settings.
