I'm still using Windows Live Mail *Beta*, Version 2008 build 14.0.5027.0908

Is there a newer version of WLM (non Beta)?

Call me cynical, but I can't think of one single, legitimate reason why
Microsoft *secrete* the version number from the WML download page - Can you?

Hi, Jethro.

Yes, there have been several versions after the .0908 build. The latest is
labeled "Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.0206)" and was released in February.
Many other components of Windows Live, packaged as Windows Live Essentials,
were released at about the same time. To download the current WLM - and as
many other components as you like - visit:
http://download.live.com/wlmail

You probably will love some of the changes from build .0908. ;<) And
you'll hate others, as many of us do. :>(

Got it - thanks - i notice new messages are not highlighted, just the sender
name - cant remember lot of complaints about new msgs being highlighted, and
it's not like it used extra ink

Are there any other problems I can expect so I dont have to find out the
hard way?

What I have done is to create a message rule: For all messages, highlight it
with color. Click on color, select Default.

If you delete an account, the account messages will also be deleted.
If you want to move messages from storage folders, move only the messages
and not the folder.

Re: Version 2008 build 14.0.5027.0908 - Is there a newer version of WLM (non Beta)?

Have just checked my WLM version (14.0.8050.1202). I'm running XP Pro,
SP3. I assumed I had the latest version of WLM because I'm not being
offered a newer one when I go to MS Updates.

The OP asked for a newer non-beta version and 14.0.8064.0206 has been
mentioned twice. Is this definitely non-beta? If so, any idea why I'm
not offered it via MS Updates or is it a Vista specific version?

8064 is definitely non-beta. You have to check the Windows Live Essentials
site
manually for now. It isn't offered through Windows Update.
