Short Cut area

Using Windows Live Mail, how do you populate the Short Cut area at the
bottom left of the window with what you actually want to have there? How
would I add a shortcut to Windows Live Messenger? I don't use Feeds or the
Calendar so how would I remove those short cuts?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Short Cut area

Hello Ron,

I think you are talking about Quick Launch. If so, then this tutorial will help show you how to add or remove shortcuts from this area.

Quick Launch

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Short Cut area

No I think he is referring to the little icon on the very bottom left of
wlm, not the taskbar

Re: Short Cut area

DOH! Time for that next cup of coffee. Thank you Dwolf.

Sorry Ron,

You cannot add or remove items from that location in WLM. If you move the mouse pointer over the line above it, you can click on the arrow when it appears to shrink it down to make it less noticable.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Short Cut area

That one I'm familiar with. It is the short-cut area of Windows Live Mail
that has me baffled.

Thank you

Ron

Re: Short Cut area

Thank you. That is what I was thinking seeing that there was no mention of
it in the help files. Oh well, another "funny thing" attached to Windows
Live Mail for which there isn't an explanation!

Ron
