Bring back icons in the command bar as an option.

Theres nothing worng with options microsoft. Did you know it takes longer to
read the option, as it does to look at an icon. Yes, you chose to go with a
95% text based GUI so people can "focus on the content" but how can you work
with that content if you have to take the extra amount of time to read the
    commands.

So, this is a sugestion to add the following commands:

    Text + icons
    Icons only
    Text only

You can even add Text only as the default option, but make it known people
can chose what ever the view they wish.

After all, "Windows without walls". You still have "walls" as you are locked
down to certin views and choices, as this very one.

This is a peer to peer forum of user's like you.
Fyi...the toolbar icon you've mentioned has been previously reported and requested.

It never hurts to to send additional feedback/requests to Microsoft using WLM's feedback option

I have, and if this has been requested before, then it must be a popular
    request, something Microsoft should consider.

Hopefully it will obtain some headway by sending feedback and keeping it current, so far at least three versions have been released
without that feature(beta, RC, and RTW) <g>
