Vista - Moving store folder fails

I am trying to move the Store folder from one partition to another without
any success.
Firstly, with 318MB of data Vista Home Premium takes THIRTY FIVE
MINUTES!!!!!!!!!
Then with about thirty minutes gone, it tells me that is has failed because
the file edb.log is in use by another program. Eh??? WHAT "other program"??

Any suggestions?

You didn't mention it, but I see in the headers for your post that you are
using build 14.0.8064.0206, the latest currently available build of Windows
Live Mail.

Please tell us, step by step, HOW you are trying to move the Store Folder.
And, as it says in the "Asking a question?" note at the bottom of your post:If you used the Tools | Advanced | Maintenance | Store Folder | Change
method, you should have seen a notice that the move would happen after you
exit WLM and start it again. Did you see that?

Try using Process Explorer and its Ctrl-f search feature...

Hmm... are you logged in with a Live ID? That would be one.
Connected to a Contacts store? I've got a pair for that with
wlcomm.exe. Plus one from an svchost.exe service (probably
not related.)

I would try starting WLMail.exe with Work Offline set and see
if your symptoms change. ; )
