Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

When I enter the month and day or use the pop up calendar to enter the
birthdate in the contacts birthday field the month and day get reversed when
the month or day is less than 12.

for example: when I select from the pop up calendar Jan 8, 2009 (01/08/09)
what gets entered is Aug 1, 2009 (08/01/09). The same thing happens if I
enter 01/08/09 it enters 08/01/09 after I do a save.

I am using Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8050.1202)

Thanks,
Tom

RE: Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

After updateing wlm to the latest version which did not help any...I figured
maybe it was something to do with the os date format. After switching the
Regional and Language Options - Country format from Canada to US, the month
and day did not reverse. Is there something in the Canada country format I
need to change?

Thanks,
Tom

Re: Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

Just a guess, but windows contacts birthday field assuming your system clock
is set to the right time, most likely will get a little confused when you
try to set to some date in the future as a birth date. Try Jan 8, 2008 or
01/08/08

Re: Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

Create a new contact using the same information as the contact file your
having problem with. Then delete the old one.

Re: Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

Birthdates for the Birthday calendar, iirc, are pulled from your contact's birth date entry in *their* online Profile.

Re: Contacts birthday month and day are reversed

Creating a new contact with the Canada country format still reverses the
month and day.
