| | Feed ordering In the feeds panel, I have set the order by date (ascending). However, most of the times, when I open the feeds again, the order is descending. Is there any way I can solve this? I am using WLMail 14.0.8064.0206 on Vista HP (x64). |

How often would we have to test for it not to persist? ; } It's not something I really use. The sort order in the equivalent Explorer window is even less persistent it seems. E.g. picking a folder in Your Feeds and clicking on Date Modified never affects subsequent use of the Explorer window. It is always ordered by Name. Keystrokes to see that (in an English version of WLMail on XPsp3): Alt-T,O,Ctrl-Backtab,M,F,Y,Ctrl-c, Win-E Alt-d,Ctrl-v,\Y,Enter, Shift-F6,Spacebar,Enter E.g. that opens an Explorer window for me in Details view, where I can see that the Name column always is the primary sort field. Note: I don't know how possible the second line would be on Vista or W7. It all applies to an Explorer window. The purpose of the first set of keystrokes is to get the full path of the Windows Live Mail "personal message store" into the ClipBoard so you can paste it somewhere and navigate into its Your Feeds subdirectory. (That's what the \Y,Enter accomplishes using AutoComplete.) Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- |
