Vista - All news folder in Live mail news reader

Hi all

My All news folder in Live Mail Newsgroups contains headers of messages that
no longer exist in msnews,microsoft,com folders. I have 'Deleted' folder
content for each newsgroup and have navigated to relevant folders under
documents and settings ... Application data, ensuring each is empty. How do
I resynchronise the All news folder?

Oh great mystery of life. It now shows only one of about fifty total
messages in seven different newsgroups! Is there a way to remove this folder
from news group quick views and start it again?
