| | Re: MSN Photos download - "error: read only folder"?? Thanks for your assistance. The photo email says PLAY SLIDESHOW and DOWNLOAD PHOTOS, but DOES NOT SAY Save all Photos. As mentioned before, in the past I have received numerous emails from this same sender but now can't seem to download the pics. I will pose the questions you submitted and see what comes of that. Again, thanks. -- dbn "...winston" wrote: Quote: > Ask the source on the location of the photos and if IE8 is installed on the sending pc. > e.g. Was ??? > Email created using Photo-Email in Windows Live Mail(WLM) or MSn Premium Software > Email created with photos stored on the users SkyDrive and the folder not permission-ed as public. > Email created with Photo-Email and Upload Larger images to the web unchecked in WLM. > IE8 installed ? > > Does the received email contain a link that says Play Slideshow and Save all photos ? > > -- > ...winston > ms-mvp mail > > "dbn" <dbn@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:81DCDF3B-7350-4AFD-88CD-4136B3CC951E@xxxxxx Quote: > > I am attempting to download photos from an MSN Photo email message but I > > continue to receive the following error message: > > > > "One or more of your photos were not downloaded. | | Re: MSN Photos download - "error: read only folder"?? From what I can see...sending a message with any combination using a Live ID(pop3 or http account) or Non Live ID(pop3 account) and received by a Live ID(pop3 or http account) or non Live ID(pop3 account) in WLM yields 'Play Slideshow' and 'Save All Photos'. Download Photo is an available option when viewing the slideshow(upper right). Possibly there is another option I haven't tried... -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "dbn" <dbn@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:FC43D6D9-185F-4F3A-BB0D-67DB49680079@xxxxxx Quote: > Thanks for your assistance.
