Vista - Alt E+E used to mark all as read. It seems to still work. Is that correct?

Forgive me for spoiling your fun, but wouldn't it be a whole lot quicker to
find out if you had clicked " catch up " ?

Mark all as read = Mark all unread messages previously download and available in WLM as read
Catch up = mark all unread messages previously downloaded and not downloaded(at that point in time) as read

There doesn't seem to be any shortcut marked on the Menu items for this. I
used to use Alt+E+E all the time to quickly mark all messages as read.
Under Edit, "Mark all as read" is Ctrl+Shift+A. Then they have Catch Up.
Isn't that the same? Or does that have something to do with Sync? Or does
that send outgoing messages that are in the Outbox? ???

I use Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + Q. That highlights, then marks all messages as
read.
Ctrl+Shift+A marks all downloaded messages as read including the ones that
are already marked as read.
As Winston wrote Catch Up marks all downloaded and not downloaded messages
as read.

I use the button on the toolbar, Mark All then next to that is NextFolder
which of course takes me down to the next folder of unread messages. <g>
