| | Photo e-mai problem With the Windows Live program on my Vista 64 system, the photo e-mail function has stopped working properly within the past few weeks. Up until then, it had uploaded photos properly. Now when I send a photo e-mail, the message sits in the Outbox and doesn't send. If I open the unsent message and click "send" again, the message does send, but the message does not include the ability to open the photos to a larger size or to view the photos in a slide show. I just checked my update history and it appears that IE8 was installed a couple of weeks before my last successful photo e-mail about a month ago. However, there have been many security and other updates installed since then. |

| | Re: Photo e-mail problem I have found out that I can still properly send photo e-mails under my wife's login on this same computer. I also tried sending photos using the same program on a different computer and had the same failure. However, I did get an error that said that I've somehow exceeded my storage capacity on my Comcast server, which is probably where my problem actually is. Now I need to contact Comcast and see if the problem is really on their end. | | Re: Photo e-mail problem Comcast has set a limit as to how many Photo-emails you can send. When you have reached the limit, you have to wait 30 days before the " server " dump them. Then you can start using the option again, meanwhile send them in normal attachment format. I have a similar situation ( from a different server ). t-4-2 "jbenn118" <jbenn118@xxxxxx> wrote in message news 97C910C-759A-4B15-A0C8-82E19D5EF315@xxxxxxQuote: > I have found out that I can still properly send photo e-mails under my > wife's > login on this same computer. | | Re: Photo e-mail problem I am sorry, I have mislead you . It is not Comcast, it is the Microsoft photo server. See the reply I received when I had your problem :---- " If this is a Photo mail, you have to wait until the images age off of the Microsoft photo server. This happens after 30 days. You can't delete them any sooner. In the mean time you can send them as attachments, or inline images which don't store them on the Microsoft server." | | Re: Photo e-mail problem It still doesn't make sense, since I probably haven't sent more than 10 photo e-mails in the last 30 days and each one was usually less than 5MB worth of photo files. Maybe someone from Microsoft will come on and help clear this up. What is interesting is that the error says that the server is Comcast, but that may explain why Comcast couldn't resolve the problem.
