| | rearrange accounts in the folder pane How do I rearrange the accounts in the folder pane? I want my most active email account at the top and the rest in descending order. Clicking and dragging seems to work until I release the left click button. Then the dragged account goes back to where it was. McGyver |

| | Re: rearrange accounts in the folder pane Windows Live Mail is a stand alone program separate from Outlook 2007. The move feature available in WLM is part of WLM, not Windows or Outlook 2007. Outlook's Navigation pane shows its folders in alphabetical order. Rename the folders to re-arrange the location. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "John" <John@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:2CC00946-7A7E-4052-BBFE-E6963EB23FA7@xxxxxx Quote: > Does this work with outlook 2007 because i do not get this option when i > right click on my account. > > "McGyver" wrote: > Quote: >> "Colin Brown WLMVP" <Hackersoft1@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news 2E16945-AA72-4C16-BF5B-B06FD40F7908@xxxxxxQuote: >> > >> > Right click on your account and select "Move Up" or "Move Down" from the >> > context menu. >> > >> > Colin Brown >> > WL MVP >> That worked. | | Re: rearrange accounts in the folder pane If you specified which folder, you probably would receive a different answer. If my hunch is correct, you have Out-box and or Storage Folder in mind. If yes, the answer is no. You can move the Account Folders, and they will stay where you have moved them. But not the 2 mentioned above. t-4-2 "Kingfish" <Kingfish@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:13E04608-F655-42FA-8907-6A42D96090F8@xxxxxx Quote: > That is fine but how do you lock it - if you close Windows Live Mail and > reopen then the folder order reverts to the original! > > "Colin Brown WLMVP" wrote: > Quote: >> Right click on your account and select "Move Up" or "Move Down" from the >> context menu. >> >> Colin Brown >> WL MVP >> >> "McGyver" <Greyprof@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:h2in3a$g1j$1@xxxxxx Quote: >> > How do I rearrange the accounts in the folder pane?
