(baldomero.monarrez).
servicios.

Many mail services have message size limits. Your messages have to be
under the limits of both your mail service and the recipient's mail
service.

You could try the break apart option (Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties,
Advanced) but that requires that the recipient have a compatible mail
program that knows how to put the messages back together. Additionally,
the total message must be smaller than any server mail box limits on the
recipient's end.

You would be better off using a file transfer service.

Re: I have problems trying to send mails bigger than 5 mb

You are lucky. My mail server allows only 3 MBs. If you have large files that you want to get somewhere, I suggest you open a free Skydrive account (there each file can be up to 50MBs), upload the files there and send the link via the mail. Then the recipient can download the file(s) from there. It is very simple.

thanks whs, I'm not really familiarized with the use of Skydrive but I'll
take a look to learn hot to do it and just send the link.
