Actually I am using avast! And it the problem of Quick View not working
happened because I stupidly decided to delete a storage folder that I did no
Causing me sadness is that the article discusses Outlook Express - the
functional legacy program that Microsoft withdrew support from - and I see
that microsoft email stores can be corrupted if users use avast! or other
antivirus program to monitor email.
I have given up. I am currently migrating to Thunderbird. The only problem I
have so far is of course accessing hotmail and live.com mail via
thunderbird. Common problem. Investigating solutions.
Bloody microsoft - either make an email program that works - or grow up, get
out of the way and make it possible for functional programs to access ms
Next option is of course to migrate all hotmail and live.com accounts to
Gmail. A pain - but will finally resolve years of being frigged around with
pop access on pop access off, hotmail msnmail livemail, group chat msn chat
live chat, groups no groups, etc etc.
