| | Junk Mail View Pane Does Not Work I can't get the view pane on my hotmail junk junk mail to work. The only way I can see what is in a message is to double click on it to fully open it or move the messages to my inbox and view the messages there which defeats the purpose of having a junk mail filter. Is there any way I can get the junk mail view pane to work so that when the message is selected I can see the contents? -- Kind Regards Chris |

| | Re: Junk Mail View Pane Does Not Work Thanks for the reply Ron. I found the view pane very useful with Outlook Express and am disappointed its not an option in Windows Live Mail. Sometimes its not easy to scrutinize a message, especially from someone who has e mailed for the first time unless one can see the contents. | | Re: Junk Mail View Pane Does Not Work The Preview pane is not an option for Junk Mail. OE did not have a junk mail folder. Might you be referring to the use of a Hotmail account using WebDAV in OE ? Where junk mail filtered at the web interface server level was placed in a folder called Bulk. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "Chris Nicola" <chrisnicola(at)hotmail(dot)com> wrote in message news:8BC2BDCD-9678-4932-B5C2-FDEA0A95187F@xxxxxx Quote: > Thanks for the reply Ron. | | Re: Junk Mail View Pane Does Not Work Yeah, but there really *is* a bug with that: click 'Not junk' and the message disappears into its rightful folder, but flagged 'Read'. I sometimes forget, and then have the devil of a job to find it again. My preferred MO is to delete it; that way, it ends up 'Unread' in the nearest Deleted items folder, where everything else is typically 'Read', so the newcomer is easy to find and deal with. -- Noel "Gary VanderMolen" <gary@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:eL4prkpGKHA.4168@xxxxxx Quote: > You can submit feedback here: > https://feedback.live.com/default.as...=wlmaildesktop > > Desired mail wrongly classified as Junk should be few and far > between > once you have all your Contacts entered.
