| | Calendar Items Syncing But Not Showing Added new event at home on WLM Desktop. After two days it is not showing on Windows Live Calendar web page, but all previous events, birthdays etc. are. Then came into office and new event showed up on WLM Desktiop here on different computer but it's still not showing up on web page. Tried clearing cache, deleting all temporary internet files etc. Still not showing on web site. Both machines running XP Pro. Any ideas? -- Lefty |

| | Re: Calendar Items Syncing But Not Showing Are you using the same Live ID to sign on to Windows Live in WLM and the web interface ? I can't duplicate the problem at this end. Using the same Live ID, I added and entry in the local WLM, performed a sync then accessed the web interface calendar(calendar.live.com) and the event was present. It could be an issue with the server, your Live ID, or a corruption in the local contact database. Normally for the latter, one would suggest deleting the Live ID local calendar in Windows Explorer, then signing on to Windows Live in WLM with that same Live, then performing a sync to download the web data to WLM locally, but since you've data in the local calendar that is not present, that approach would necessitate re-entry of data locally that is not present in the web interface. Prior to doing anything and to determine if the server is syncing locally with WLM.....close WLM, logon to the web interface calendar(calendar.live.com), enter an event, logoff, open WLM and signon to Windows Live with the same Live, access the calendar, then perform a sync from the Calendar interface in WLM. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "LeftyNorth" <LeftyNorth@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:C0538606-4109-4B8E-9CA1-4405953C37FD@xxxxxx Quote: > Added new event at home on WLM Desktop. | | Re: Calendar Items Syncing But Not Showing Winston Finally figured it out. I had 6 calendar's. Personal, Work, Birthdays etc. etc. I was not using the default WLM Calendar (I thought) and only adding events to one of MY calendars. The missing events added to the default calendar and it was not checked off on the calendar page. When I put a check mark beside it, the missing events magically appeared. I have now delted my personal calandar and will use the WLM default for my personal events. -- Lefty "...winston" wrote: Quote: > Are you using the same Live ID to sign on to Windows Live in WLM and the web interface ? > > I can't duplicate the problem at this end. | | Re: Calendar Items Syncing But Not Showing Lefty, Thanks for the feedback.. To ensure were all on the same page..most of use refer to the 'Default' calendar as the calendar in use without a Live ID thus no sync occurs with the web interface(calendar.live.com). Based on your response, am I correct that you created multiple calendars for use for a specific Live ID and and are referring to the 'main' Live ID calendar as the default calendar ? - Once the view for that main calendar was enabled in the web interface, that calendar became visible as did the events entered into the local WLM calendar ? -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "LeftyNorth" <LeftyNorth@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:89DCE679-4304-4CB5-AA42-488F41015ED5@xxxxxx Quote: > Winston > Finally figured it out.
