Any advice? by something unusual that you have installed that interferes with it, such as an AntiVirus program which is set to scan E-mail, or, if it seems to happen when you are using E-mail, particularly when in a Hotmail account, an interferer might be anything that is an add-on to Internet Explorer, so then you could try any of the standard troubleshooting techniques associated with problems seen by IE users. On another tack you could try some diagnosis. Unfortunately, the Error Signature that you are probably getting (but haven't disclosed) is probably inadequate to help you identify a cause. That is only likely to be discovered by getting at least a Stack Back Trace associated with the DEP event. Using ProcMon to capture the DEP event might be one way of doing that. Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- |
