Vista - How to transfer Outlook 2007 calender to WLM calender?

Can the calender from OUTLOOK 2007 be transferred/imported into WLM calender?

Not directly. WLM does not have the ability to import the OL calendar, nor does Windows or OL have the ability to transfer OL
Calendar data to WLM.

The only route...and possibly with mixed results, since the OL calendar has quite a few more functions and data fields than the
Live calendar, is to publish your OL calendar to Office Online(account required) and control access to that calendar(yourself,
contact, public)and subscribe to that calendar via the Live web interface(calendar.live.com) for that same Live ID.

The subscribe option is only available in the web interface(calendar.live.com) and ***is not*** available in WLM desktop
client(with or without a Live ID used to sign on to Windows Live).

Yes..iirc that is a one shot deal and will create a separate calendar(user can choose the name).
Subscribing will avoid having to do it again..which may be better for the op.

As mentioned previously, any import or subscribed method may not contain the data the Outlook is capable of displaying if the
WLCalendar can't render the contents.

Calendars that you import from ICS files aren't updated after you've imported them, and won't reflect any changes that the calendar
owner makes until you import a new version of the ICS file. However, if the ICS file is published online, you can subscribe to it.

The other option which may be easier for some....if one has Outlook and Live ID... install the Outlook Connector which allows the
calendars to be viewed side by side, individually, drag and drop between etc..
