Vista - Attaching Scanned images to email

I am a recent convert from Outlook Express 6 to Windows Live. I have a
Brother All in one, that I have set up the Default Scan to Email to open
Windows Live.

It used to be, that when using OE6, I would scan a document then OE6 would
open and a new email was started with the document as an attachment. It
worked great.

Now, with Windows Live, I changed the default email program within my
Brother Controll Center to WL (WLmail.exe). So now when I scan in a document
with the intent of sending it as an attachment, it does bring up Windows
live, but does not bring up a new email with the attachment like it used to
under OE6.

How can I set up WL so the scanned image is alread attached to a new
outgoing email?

Hello Jerry,

I am just wondering if you clicked your default on Windows Live Mail (
Options ) Default message program , make sure the button at the bottom of
Windows Live is set to the proper default .
