| | The title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted when it's ac The title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted when it's the active Window. It is only highlighted (goes dark) if the Window is maximized. For any other Window in Windows (except Office 2007 where it's an equally annoying problem), the title bar for the active window is highlighted dark. This is a really big annoyance. Frequently, when I go to close a message in WLM (or Office 2007), I click the X in the wrong window, because the title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted - even if it's the active Window. So I accidentally close a window that is BEHIND the WLM (or Office 2007) window that I meant to close. ARGH!! What could possibly have been the logic behind this change in design? Is there a way to fix this - or a workaround? MANY thanks!!! |

| | Re: The title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted when it's ac I'm using XP Home and with WLM open, even at maximised, if I open a message or reply (as I'm doing now) I see no red x anywhere. The WLM title bar is a different colour as always but the reply window has a title bar that is the same colour as the menu bar. The close and resize icons all appear as really basic icons with no colour whatsoever and you have to search for them. Also when you hit the Restore button on the WLM main window (so it is no longer maximised) the title bar also becomes the same colour as the menu bar and is all but invisible. | | Re: The title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted when it's ac On my XP SP3 system, if WLM is not maximized, the X does NOT show as red even when it is the active window. It only turns red when the mouse if moved over it. -- Mike - http://TechHelp.Santovec.us "...winston" <winstonmvp@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:OPLBejoIKHA.2516@xxxxxx Quote: > On this Vista system, if I open Outlook 07, an Outlook Message, WLM > and a WLM message(4 windows), the active Window is the only one that > shows an 'red X'. > > -- > ...winston > ms-mvp mail > > "Darryl Gittins" <DarrylGittins@xxxxxx> wrote in > message news:41F98BF8-3F14-4131-A9BE-B314000D82DD@xxxxxx Quote: >> The title bar in windows live mail is not highlighted when it's the >> active >> Window.
