Re: how do i send/ recieve?

Hi, Master.

Yes, most of us agree that the Windows Live Mail Team made several sad
choices in the latest user interfaces. :>(

A couple of those choices are to hide the Menu Bar by default, and to change
the longstanding name of Send/Receive.

We can turn the Menu Bar back on momentarily by simply pressing <Alt> - or
<Alt>+M. Or we can toggle it on (semi-)permanently with <Alt>+M, M or by
clicking that icon on the Toolbar, just left of the question mark for Help,
and choosing Show Menu Bar.

As Dave said, Send/Receive has been replaced by Sync - which is not quite
the same, but close enough for most of us most of the time. I've added the
Sync button to my Toolbars - but note the plural Toolbars. The options for
Sync in email are different from those in news.

well, that does suck, and that's the reason why i like windows mail more. ive noticed that the windows live team has been making a few bad choices lately, like with live movie maker, no timeline, and then this.

No time line ? Mine does. I have Windows Live Mail and I ALWAYS have time
line in my Movie Maker.

Re: how do i send/ recieve?

I just downloaded the 14.0726 WLM yesterday. Did not have a chance to check
out the New movie maker until now. Thank you for pointing it out.
From what I notice so far after a brief minutes, isn't the right side the
time line ?

ummm, i read somewhere, it was based off the timeline or something like that, but wasn't it exactly. as you know, in the timeline, you drag and drop stuff where you want it, and it appears there, where you want it. in this one, you drop it anywhere, say it's a transition, it'll appear at the beginning of the video. also, you can't see sound waves in audio files i think.
