Windows Mail is only made available through Windows Vista. No other way to
    get it.

Phil, I read your other post. You said " Windows mail - which has seemed to
have disappeared since trying live mail "
    Have you tried :
Start button ( bottom left ) > bottom left, type Windows Mail in the
search box > look up, do you see Windows Mail at the top of the left column
    ?
If yes, left click on it, Windows mail will show up on the screen.
If that happens, it will be asking you if you want to make it as default.
Click Yes, since you want to use it instead of Windows Live Mail.

    You won't 7 doesn't ship with an e-mail client.

Don't even try to look for it there. Allow me to reiterate: "Windows Mail is
only made available through Windows Vista". Not Windows XP. Not Windows 7.
Only Windows Vista. Assuming you are discussing Windows Mail, and not
    Windows Live Mail.

If you don't like Windows Live Mail, and you are using Windows 7, your only
option is to try a third party email client. There are several, some are
even free. Mozilla Thunderbird is nice; and Mozilla has even "broken" it in
some ways, to match the user experience with MS clients, such as Outlook
Express (though, if you know what is broken, and want to fix it, the Config
    Edit feature comes in handy!)

Certainly have tried it, and the only mail that appears is Windows Live
    Mail, which I DON'T want.
Tried all this already, but thanks for the help, mate.

That does seem monumentally daft, if you ask me (which you wouldn't of
    course)

    Thanks for the help.
I'd use thunderbird like a shot, but always had bother with it's weird way
of using "global" boxes, not much use if you've got emails from several
    providers.
