| | Re: How are calendar files stored on local HD? Windows Live Calendar does not save data in ics files in WLM. You do have the option, and only in the web interface for each Live ID's calendar to share a calendar with an ics option. http://calendar.live.com - click on Share for the options seen below Sharing settings for "Calendar" - Don't share this calendar (keep it private) - Share this calendar Share options are: 1. Share your calendar with friends and family - You decide if they can add, edit, or just view events and to-dos. 2. Send friends a view-only link to your calendar They'll only be able to view your calendar but they won't need a Windows Live ID. a. Get your calendar links(this will also save your settings) b. If you want people to see all the details of your calendar, use these links. HTML: Preview in a web browser ICS: Import into another calendar application RSS: View in a feed reader Reset calendar URLs c. If you want people to only see when you're free and busy, use these links. HTML: Preview in a web browser ICS: Import into another calendar application RSS: View in a feed reader Reset calendar URLs 3. Make your calendar public Post a public link so that anyone can search for and view your calendar online. Permission: View details and View free/busy times Time Zone: <select> a. Get your calendar links(this will also save your settings) b. If you want people to see all the details of your calendar, use these links. | | Re: How are calendar files stored on local HD? I have the same question, but it is in regards to Windows Live Mail Desktop (as the category suggests) and not the online calendar. The program has a calendar which does not sync with the online calendar, I'm trying to export it to the online calendar and my phone, however I do not know where the files are located on my HD, and there is no export to .ics file option. Can someone help me.
