Vista - MSN interfering with WLM

Hi,
Yesterday I was trying a few things, and I set up a new account in WLM, I
used my Homail account, which is also my MSN ID.
I have in the mean time removed the Hotmail account from WLM, but in the top
right corner is now my MSN picture and a bar next to it to log in to MSN.
Also, at the top of every email message, I have a big question mark icon, in
MSN style, which opens a contact window when clicked on.

I find this highly annoying, does anyone know how to get rid of the MSN
stuff from WLM?

Good question. I think MS has a problem linking all (MSN, Live, Hotmail,
etc.) accounts together. They need to get it together...

What say you MS?

This is a peer to peer newsgroup.....Msft rarely only posts and when it has occurred only limited info or request for more
information.

The option to link accounts is up to the user.

For the prior poster..the presence of the account in WLM doesn't control the picture in the upper right..the use of that Live ID to
logon to Windows Live does.

Tools, Options, Connections, Stop signing in.
Not signing in means that WLM will not use Live Contacts or Calendar.
