WLM creating permanent cookies on startup

If you add a deltasync hotmail account to WLM, it will write several
    tracking cookies on startup:

    msn.com, windowsmarketplace.com, zune.net, atdmt.com, bing.com, live.com

    1) these permanent cookies are not needed for logging into hotmail and serve
no legitimate purpose related to mail
    2) they are created not having been sent by any server but by WLM itself on
    startup
    3) WLM violates internet explorer cookie settings and writes these cookies
even when permanent cookies are disabled.

This is unacceptable behavior that one would expect from malware. Is there
    any way to disable it?

Put fake entries into your hosts and/or DNS.

WLM is disregarding cookie settings that it shares with IE, only session
cookie are allowed. Is that not a bug?

    No, its actually common.

Enable logging in WLM(General and Email)
Review the log, search for the string 'cookie'
You should easily see some cookies are being set.

How's that a no, the settings prohibit permanent cookies, only session
cookies are allowed, and yet WLM is writing permanent cookies. That's a
    bug.

Just like certain email addresses, domains, partner domains, etc are not blockable in WLM..certain cookies may very well fall under
    that same approach.

For what it's worth, you do have the option to 'Send Feedback' on WLM.
