| | Mail Rules - Fowarded messages don't show originating senders addr Hello All, I have set up a message rule in WLM so that emails will be automatically forwarded to a hotmail account. When any forwarded mails are opened in hotmail the 'From' address is my WLM account and the original sender's address (the address of the person who sent the email to my WLM account) does not appear anywhere... not even in the message body as you would normally expect with forwarded mail. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? I would really appreciate some help and advice. Many thanks, Rich |

The next best thing is "Forward as attachment", if the rules allow it. This creates a new email, and includes the forwarded email as an attachment. This will preserve the headers of the original email. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

| | Re: Mail Rules - Fowarded messages don't show originating senders Yes, It's called Pop3 Aggregation. Up to 3 accounts can be popped(pulled into Hotmail) Along with this ability, one other feature was disabled. In the past, one had a Pop button on the Hotmail web UI tool bar....that button was removed.. Pop3 happens automatically on a pre-determined interval(logging on to the account will force it). Forwarding Hotmail Inbox messages outbound is a different feature...for free accounts one can forward mail to one other e-mail address that ends in hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com, or is part of Windows Live Custom Domains. Hotmail Plus and MSN Premium accounts can forward to any one account(e.g. username@xxxxxx ) -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "N.
