Bizarre WLM behavior:

    Bizarre WLM behavior:

I thought I told WLM not to check folders in my IMAP accounts.
Right click IMAP account, Properties, IMAP, Folders, Check for new messages
    in all folders is UNchecked.
But it checks each and every one when its Syncing (F5). Did I miss
something? Is this a bug? Its making the whole process take about 20 times
as long as it should, not to mention wasting computer resources and bandwith
as I'm checking many times a day.

Probably a bug. It seems to have started when they chanded "Send/Receive" to
"Sync". The new "Sync" feature has been a royal nuisance to many users.

Does anyone have any solutions? Sure seems like a bug. At least it can be
replicated with unwavering consistency! Perhaps I could sync in some other
fashion? I could do them individually I guess but that is time consuming.
I just love the way IMAP organizes my folders and uses webmail as the
    backup.

Does anybody know if Outlook has this problem syncing IMAP accounts?

Right-click on the particular IMAP folder you don't want checked.
Select "Synchronization settings, and "Don't synchronize".

Worked like a charm. Many thanks. My mail now takes about 5% as long to sync as before. Couldn't be happier.
