How to sort newsgroup messages by MESSAGE creation date (not THREAD)

Hi, is there any way to sort newsgroup messages so that when you hit the
'Sent' column it sorts by MESSAGE sent date. The behavior now is that it
sorts by THREAD creation date.

Note: There was an option in one of the menus to do this in Outlook Express.
It would be nice to have this feature as an additional column setting
(instead of menu) in Live Mail.

Any help appreciated.

Menu bar, "View" menu. Uncheck "View by conversation".

Default is for the menu bar to be hidden. Using the [Alt] key unhides the
menu once; using the "Menu" icon, between the "Color" icon and the "Help"
icon, allows you to permanently reveal the menu bar.
