Question about WLM contacts.

    Question about WLM contacts.

    Latest build of WL Mail,
    Win XP, sp3,
    Logged into WL Mail,

I don't know whether this is a bug or whether intentional but whenever I try
to paste an email address into a contact's details I can't, the paste option
doesn't appear, I can paste into name, home address & IM but not email
address, phone # or web address, if someone has updated their details then
it means having to manually enter the information, which, if it's a
complicated or long address, can be time consuming. This is something which
can be done in OE easily so I would've expected WLM to also have that
    function.

    Thanks for all your replies,
    Time Lady.

Use Control C (Copy) and Control V (Paste)

Fyi...Information changes made by Live ID contacts in your own Live ID address book(Contact list used for WLMail and WLMsgr) update
    automatically.

Thanks winston, after I'd posted I looked into changing the information via
the web interface which seemed to work but it's good to know that there's a
way to copy & paste into the address book in the LM UI. The entry isn't one
for someone who uses a Live ID so the entry had to be changed manually.

    Re: Question about WLM contacts.

    Mary,
    You're welcome.

It's also pretty common to have more non Live ID contacts than Live ID contacts.

Many of us agree that context menus(right click) in the WLM Contact engine could be improved upon.

One can send feedback to the WLM Team if desired.

Have already done so asking for copy & paste to be available for everything
I've mentioned, hopefully they'll at least consider it.
