windows 7 live mail

in Windows Live mail VIEW option, the COLUMNS button is not available - it is greyed out.

I cannot therefore select which fields to view in Inbox etc.

The PC came with Windows 7 installed. I installed Live Mail from the internet.

I've just realised that if I change the layout to one-above-other, then the COLUMNS option appears - problem solved.

Hi, Gray.

You can also open the Columns... dialog by right-clicking in any column
header.

You probably have noticed that the columns offered are different in each of
the WLM windows. In Mail, for example, you can choose Priority and Account;
those columns are not available in News, but Mark for Offline is
