| | Windows Live Mail I recently downloaded Windows Live Mail and I've looked this thing over and I can't find a send/receive button that I used to on Outlook Express, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? |

This "cloud computing" is based on the concept of the Internet as a "cloud" of interconnected, remote servers. You store your data on somebody else's computer in this "cloud" (Microsoft want is to be there "Windows Live" servers), and you "synchronize" your local data, using specific clients (such as "Windows Live Mail" for email, or "Windows Live Photo Gallery" for pictures). You asked the same question that I was thinking; why the change in terminology? There must be someone at Microsoft that gets paid for thinking up NEW ways to say things.
