Can't post to a Newsgroup

I am getting the following error message when trying to post to a newsgroup:
Unable to send or receive messages for the news.netobjects.com account.
Windows Live Mail could not post your message.

Subject 'Re: Reloading Net Objects 9 to Windows 7'
Server: 'news.netobjects.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060

Any idea what this means and how to resolve this?

Re: Can't post to a Newsgroup

Try putting
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
in Google.
You will find many answers.

Re: Can't post to a Newsgroup

The error means that the connection timed out while trying to connect to
the news server.

I presume that you are able to read posts on that news server.

Have you ever been able to post via that news server?

That news server could be read only. Or you may need an account with
password in order to post via that news server. Contact the news server
administrator. Although typically that issue would give you a different
error message.

You could also try increasing the server timeout at Tools, Accounts,
News, Properties, Advanced. Try a setting of one or two minutes.
