Sent Items no longer display "To"

I just upgraded from using WLM on XP to WLM on Windows 7. Previously, my
Sent Items folder listed my sent email by who they were sent "To" - now,
using Win7, they are listed by "From" - and that is me! I now can't tell who
the messages were sent to without opening them up. Is there a way to change
the display column? The only setting that I can find is the "Sort By" and
that is set to "Sent" - which sorts the messages by date, but the list
doesn't show who the mail was addressed to, it's displaying my name only.

Right click on any column(e.g. From), scroll and select Columns
    - add the To: column
    - after adding the To: column - drag any column to change its location
    - the same method(right clikc etc) can be used to add other columns or uncheck columns

RE: Sent Items no longer display "To"/ADDING "TO" COLMN DOES NOT HELP

I have similar problem. However, I already added the "TO" column but it still
shows the same as the "FROM" column. Opening the email does show the correct
"TO". Also when I use the Menu "FIND" in the "TO" field only it does
properly find who the email was sent to. However, the "TO" column in the
"FIND" results still shows up only as the "FROM".

As you can imagine, this is a royal pain, ANY SUGGESTIONS.

And this is only one of many royal pains I have had with the Windows 7
upgrade and WLM (it totally screwed up the message imports: no html edit
function; no send/receive control for a start).

First, you are apparently not seeing the Menu Bar" in your WLM installation.
Click the "Menu icon" and select "Show Menu Bar". It is next to the "?"
icon at the top right of the main mail screen - there's also one on a
compose screen, but you need the one on the main mail screen. Then you
should see the File - Edit - View - Insert - etc. commands.

This is where you would find "File - Import" . . . . but since you were
apparently not seeing the Menu Bar, I question whether you really used the
Import feature to bring in your messages. Did you "forward" the messages to
yourself? This would result in the TO and FROM fields having the same
    name - your name.

And lastly, the "Sync" feature is the Send / Receive you are looking for.
Right click on the Tool Bar - Customize - and add "Sync". You can use it
anytime to download or send out mail.

Re: Sent Items no longer display "To"/ADDING "TO" COLMN DOES NOT H

Thanks for the reply (the double post was my error).

Regarding the Menu Bar... Did use the menue bar.... did use the
import.... did not forward to myself. (fyi even though I have been doing
this a pretty long time I fully appreciate that I might have had a short
between the head sets, but I don't think so in this case)

Regarding the Sync. I think you will find that unlike WM or OE which
allowed you to do a manual Send/Receive (now referred to as Sync in WLM) the
Sync feature is alwasy on line unless you chose the working online button
(bottom right) in which case you have a pop up message to deal with and/or
disconnect.... I don't want to be working on line except when I chose I
don't to have to tell it that everytime not to disconnect.

PS please tell me why they did away with editing emails in html

Re: Sent Items no longer display "To"/ADDING "TO" COLMN DOES NOT HELP

As a test, take one of the messages with the wrong TO value in the
message list and drag it to a Windows operating system folder (not a WLM
folder). Then drag the message back to the WLM folder. You should now
have two copies of the message.

Does the one you dragged back now have the correct TO value? If so
you've run across a bug in WLM. There's an intermittent problem in WLM
where messages downloaded or moved between folders don't get properly
updated in the message index on disk. They look OK at first, but after
closing and reopening WLM, the index is screwed up.

Dragging the message out of WLM and back again fixes the problem.
