If mails are on the server and doesn't clear up on its own
Perform in the following order
1. Open Outlook, Remove the account in Outlook,Close Outlook
2. Remove the Connector (Control Panel/Add Remove or Programs and Features)
3. Restart
4. Reinstall the Connector (Outlook may have to be opened and closed once after installation to complete setup of the Connector) -
ensure you have the latest version(RTM or beta)

5. Add the account in Outlook and perform a sync.
Note: Do not perform step 1 prior to step 2...doing so may corrupt your main Outlook pst file.
If still no joy repeat the above and navigate to your Outlook message store
1b. Delete the Live account's *.ost file
