That is a long standing bug. I brought it up to the developers at last
year's MVP Summit. I hope to revisit the problem with them at this
year's summit next week.
It appears to be an issue with the message index not always getting
written to disk on closing.
I personally see it on about 10% to 20% of closings affecting messages
moved/deleted shortly before closing,
