Winston, thanks for the help. My version of Norton 360 (3.8.0.41) does not
have boxes. I went to where I think is the same place you suggested, and
have tried making a screenshot, but for some reason can't get it in here. (I
am too tired tonight to work on it longer. If need by, I will try tomorrow.)
I am under the heading of Antivirus, Automatic Protection. There are a
number of items under that: Computer Scans (with categories under that
showing green if on, red if off), Scan Peformance Priorities, Email Scan,
Instant Message Scan, Exclusions, Low Risks. All of these are On, except for
Remove Infected Files Automatically, and Microsoft Office Automatic Scan.
Email Scan shows On in here. I am assuming I need to turn it off in here,
also. Since there is not the box you referenced for Automatic Protection, is
it on, by virtue of all these sub-headings being on?
