default "from" address

    default "from" address

    I have syncronized 2 email accounts - my old address from my internet
    provider and my new windows live account. When I send a message I can choose
    what address I want it to be sent from. It is set to the windows live
    account, but I'd rather it be set to the other account. I do not want to have
    to change this each time I send a message. Is there a way to change this
    default setting?

    Try Tools>accounts, set the "default" to what you want.

    Whichever account you are "in" (i.e., displaying the Inbox) will dictate the
    From address. If you're in the Quick Views folder, it uses the account set
    as default in Tools - Accounts. To change the From address, click on that
    field in your "new" email and select the account to use.
